Has being nice become so rare...

...that it's unusual?

Has anyone seen those Liberty Mutual ads on T.V. where it shows a chain of people doing nice things for strangers? Is there not something weird about that?

I just find them weird.
Surely being nice and considerate to strangers isn't THAT unusual.
Or am I wrong?

    Yes, you are wrong, unfortunately. Though living in small-town Texas is slowly changing my mind on that subject...
